Dear Skincare Patient,

Hello and welcome! There are a few important points I would like to point out prior to our appointment that will aid in our communication. I am a physician, pharmacist, and laboratory technologist with a special interest in dermatology. My passion includes research and the assessment of medical grade skincare products and treatments, all with the goal of finding those that perform at a higher level of efficacy.

The market is saturated with skincare options, and my goal is to find products that provide results based on proven scientific studies and research. In my assessment of your skin, you will be provided with options for treatment. These options may include over the counter products, prescriptions from a pharmacy, or medical grade skincare products obtained from a physician due to their active ingredients, potency, and delivery systems. While I do sell these products at my clinic, there is no obligation to purchase them upon completion of our consultation.

Things to note:

  • Insurance companies may cover these products, so if this is a concern for you please check with them prior to your purchase.

  • Due to the products’ potency, you should expect changes to occur with your skin while using them.

    • The initial 'REPAIR PHASE' can take from 6-20 weeks depending on the program level you choose as well as the condition of your skin. There is a potential for normal reactions of flaking, redness & dryness on the road to achieving healthy skin.

    • What follows is the 'IMPROVEMENT PHASE' & 'MAINTENANCE PHASE'. Regular follow-up is important as your skin changes through this process, more frequently at the start but then at a minimum of 2-3x per year when the skin stabilizes.

    • Please note that a gentler, non-reactive approach is also an option.
