Microneedling

The following video from my YouTube channel is an important educational tool to ensure safe and effective use of your home micro-needling kit. Please ensure you watch this video prior to completing your first treatment.

Ready to prepare for micro-needling.. here is where you start.

Advances in the processing of materials on a micro-scale have led to the development and introduction of devices that employ very small needles called microneedles, that deliver ingredients by mechanically perorating the outer skin layer and allowing for transdermal absorption of the active compound. These processing techniques incorporate one or more technologies that enable the precise machining, extrusion, casting, and /or forming from one to an array or grid of microneedles.

MTS Roller is a durable and high quality precision tool, with 200-2000 um in needle length and 10-150 um in tip diameter. The roller disc and handles are made from medical grade Lean Polycarbonate Resin with a polished stainless steel axle. It holds 200 fine Swedish surgical stainless steel needles. When these needles are inserted into the skin, they pierce the stratum corneum and create micro-conduits for maximum transport past the epidermis.

MTS Roller uses those 200 fine needles to injure the skin sufficiently enough to stimulate fibroblasts, thereby inducing collagen and elastin production. The resulting micro-channels also aid in the infusing of therapeutic serums for greater penetration, thus increasing overall efficacy. Clinical studies from Europe, Asia, and the USA have proven that serum absorption is increased by as much as 3,000 percent when applied with the roller. Studies have also shown that the roller is more consistent in increasing the thickness of the skin than other resurfacing treatments

The gentle stimulation provided by the MTS Roller is far more ‘skin friendly’ and thus, far more effective than many other invasive and more expensive skin treatments. MTS Roller leaves the entire epidermal barrier fully intact. The micro-channels created by the needles seal within hours after applications: long enough for new collagen structures to form within the lower layers of the skin, and short enough to allow the patient to resume normal schedules quickly and avoid the most common negative side effects and risks associated with laser resurfacing and at a fraction of the cost. The skin is thicker, healthier, and more responsive to additional treatments.
